How To Sell Your Books Online – What Do You Like

How To Sell Your Books

How to sell your books online has to do with your own interests. The way to enjoy what you are doing and bring interested visitors to your site is increase your authority in your niche. For instance, a family member is a Chevelle Automobile lover. He started a club for Chevelle owners.

He learned HTML back in the early days of the internet and formed a website. These days people use a theme, usually supplied by WordPress and add images and text in the editor and then publish it. When he did his Chevelle Club website he had to write all the code to create his entire site.

He had thousands of visitors to his site over the years. Eventually the Club sold the website to advertisers for auto related products and services.

Make Your Passion Your Niche

So what you need is a personal interest or a passion to create a Niche. Mine here is selling books and teaching others who create books, records, video, podcasts etc to sell their creations as well. I have another website dedicated to selling my books.

The books I have written are about my interest in the prophetic predictions in the Bible. My books lay out the math from Daniel, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Exodus through to Revelation. Most preachers and therefore most people who believe the gospel are unaware of these mathematical realities.

Realities that are objective evidence proving beyond any doubt that the creator named Jehovah inspired the 66 books of the Bible through 40 writers over the course of 3500 years with specific accuracy landing his predictions precisely on the timeline of history reaching into our day.

Be Authentic And Factual

These are factual claims, though you will not hear many speaking on these issues. This is also predicted in the Books of the Bible. Daniel 12: 3, 4 as example, says:

“Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. 4 But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.”

Among The Wise

I guess I have somehow found my way into the company of the wise. I did not independently discover most of the math. I studied, and as an engineer (BSME) I recognized time pins in scripture such as Gabriel speaking to Daniel at 12: 9-13:

“He replied, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are rolled up and sealed until the time of the end. 10 Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.

11 “From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. 12 Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.

13 “As for you, go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance.”

My Books

That, as any engineer can see is a word problem. The date the sacrifice is abolished sets the anchor then the 1,290 and the 1, 335 describe the timeline until the events come to pass. These two events are laid out and the math is solved in my two books.

Misquoting Logic, What Bart Ehrman Forgot To Tell You About The Coming Apocalypse And Your Place In it” is my first book and it lays out the means to the four possible positions a person can assume in these days. It is self-published through (There is a video trailer with a code for 20% off there).

Misquoting Calculus What Isaac Newton Tried To Tell Bart Ehrman” is my second book and it is traditionally published through Abuzz Press. This book lays out 9 specific predictions with the math that is a strike on timeline of history each time.

The odds God did not write the Bible through the prophets is virtually zero. I just solved the math and wrote it in the two books.

Facts Cannot Be Denied

Any reasonable court of law would be obliged, legally, to rule God wrote the Bible, through the 40 authors and that the books are intertwined in detailed complexity, based on this Objective evidence.

Therefore, having the conviction Jesus is who he says he is, I have a duty to share this light with others. That is the reason I wrote the books. First for my family members and then for people at large.

Two of my grandsons have now read these books and reported to me their understanding. That was the primary reason I wrote them.

Salt And Light

Now, having my convictions that there will be good and bad outcomes for people based on their belief about these matters I here make it plain what I am doing. I tell you this is evidence that cannot be denied.

If you are already a believer then these books will serve to provide strengthened faith. On the other side, if you are not a believer then you need to look at the evidence toward a decision.

Having shared the gospel with many in my life it is unfortunate that many times the conversation must begin with explaining what Jesus and the gospel is not about before it is possible to communicate what the gospel is about.

Faith To Believe

Paul was the apostle appointed by Jesus in Acts 9: 15 to reveal his name to Gentiles (non Jews) their kings and rulers (Paul stood before Caesar) and the people of Israel (after 70 A.D. when Jerusalem was destroyed).

Paul tells us in Romans 10: 4:

“Christ is the culmination (end of the law) of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.”

Romans 10: 9-13 Paul tells us:

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

  1. so thoughtful of you to put up such and informative review on how to sell your books online.. gone are the days where as an auto you have to write your boobs and then look for publishers to publish your books before you can start earning with it technology has made life really easy.. in this era one could publish their books online through e-Books and start earning from it…

    • Than you Evans. Yes there are avenues of the publishing industry that require help from professionals.  Formatting an E book and a Paperback as well hardback if you so desire is not the end of it.  In this day we have numerous outlets for E books and Paperbacks.  Plus registry with Ingrams and Bowkers require connections.  I would not be confident if my website were the only outlet to distribute my books.  The self-publishing with a POD publisher means a book it printed each time one is ordered by anyone, anywhere.  I know my publisher, for instance will publish a book for around $ 200 if you can provide them a formatted manuscript with a cover design.  So what you are saying is true.  Another thing to consider is who does the printing and is it quality.  Amazon for example makes a big noise about “free” and unfortunately many have discovered you get what you pay for.  I recommend for publishing services with absolute quality and you’ll find they are less than half the price of other publishers in the POD self-publishing industry a definite good decision.  Thank you for your comments Evans.  Chris.

  2. Hi there thanks for the review it was really helpful. I must say these are helpful tips to sell your books online. One of the biggest disrupted industries and one of those that provides a great path to a solid making money online venture for an individual entrepreneur is in book selling. You can sell your books on a lot of sites, like eBay and Abebooks. Amazon, though, is the biggest and most-trafficked bookstore in the world, so it’s the best place to sell your books.

    • Thank you Philebur for your comment.  Quality is the other consideration to consider.  Many publishers do not deliver it.  If your reader buys your book and receives copies with half printed pages etc., as we have seen from companies like the ones you mention.  As of this date my books are available everywhere books are sold through booklocker distribution.  My prediction is Amazon will lose power in the marketplace due to their now reduced commission to affiliate marketers.  There is more here to consider is the point I am trying to make.  Thank you again for your comment.  Chris.

  3. A self-help website that all aspiring writer who want to publish their books must go through! This site offer enough guidance on the subject of self-publishing.

There are plenty of insightful posts available on the matter and whether it would be worth the time and investment. I also love the way the website addresses connected issues of the digital publishing world. Cheers matey:)

    • Arjun,

Thank you for your comment.  Thank you for getting it.  All online promotion fits promoting books or anything.  I am pleased you see my site as a must for authors desiring to self-publish and promote their book.  This applies for music, video podcast also.  Quality content drives traffic and traffic when engaged effectively will through building authority and trust buy the books or products you seek to promote.  Thank you again.  Chris

  4. This information is very relevant for all amateur writers or for people who simply have the talent to write a good book, with this step-by-step explanation how to sell books online, how to turn your passion into a niche
Thousands of people visit websites every day looking for information about books
    It is a good site!

    • Walter, thank you for your comment.  It is a step by step process to publish and promote a book.  I am looking at writing a how to book on Aquaponic Gardening due to the Conrona Virus situation.  And another interesting thing about books is the more titles you have your promotional efforts apply across all of your titles.  The self-sufficient lifestyle will mesh nicely with the subject matter of my previous books and of course I will write them that way.  What are we going to do if the grocery stores close?  Growing fish, vegetables and worms (fish gotta eat too) makes for an independent lifestyle where you need little from the regular economy.  These books will be promoted on my website using the same keyword targeting strategy used and taught by Kyle in the training.  If we can do it once, we can do it again and again.  Thank you again Walter.  Chris.

  5. I have written a book before as a lead magnet for my affiliate marketing business. But, a lot of my friends and relatives who I sent the free copies to, all of them keep asking me to charge a fee for the book as I have included a lot of useful money-making tips that not available on the internet.

And I am glad I found your article. After I read it, I have a clear idea of how to market my book now!

    • Zac that is great.  I am glad my posts are helping people find their way.  Its work to publish and promote a book.  It is worth it once you are established as an author.  Never forget its the content on your website targeting keywords that brings traffic to your website.  The visitors must be engaged with the quality and authority of your content.  Doing your job will make some of them paying customers and readers of your books.  Again I am glad I have helped you.  Thank you Zac.  Chris.

  6. The information you have shared in your article about the bible is in-valuable. I am always curious to read about the prophetic predictions that are somehow coming alive with each passing day. Your article is a result of thorough research and prompting your readers to take action in buying your books.

However, I would also like to understand the methods to sell these books online. I wish if you can throw some light on how to publish, sell, and earn the revenue with the books you have written or read.

    • Arif, I want to help you anyway I can.  I did a lot of research and landed at for publishing my first book.  Self-Published there for way less money than most self-publishing services.  Go to to look them over.  Angela Hoy and her husband Richard own booklocker.  They charge less for design and formatting of your paperback and Ebook and pay the best out of all Print On Demand POD publishing firms.  I got my books placed on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Book-A-Million and all the rest.  I’m in Bowkers and the print book services to bookstores.  Angela has a book called “90 days of promoting your book” which you receive a download free.  That answers a lot of the how to things needed.  If you talk to Angela tell her Chris Queen sent you.  I do get referral fee and you will too, if you publish with them.  I hope to talk with you more.  Please if you have any questions then leave them in the comments here and I will answer you.  Thank you Arif.  Chris.

  7. This is a really valuable article. My sister has a writer a book and she loves writing but she never could figure out how to seek her book online. I think the info in this article is perfect for anyone who is looking to learn how to take the book to the online world and make a business out of it. Thank you for sharing!
